Meet Our Team

  • Logan Caola

Chair of Northern Lights Psychedelic Research Collaborative

Current Research Coordinator at the UMN Twin Cities Campus. B.S in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience, and a M.S in Psychology Research. My current research is focused on healthcare equity and alternative treatments for treatment resistant depression.

I hope to further mental healthcare by finding applicable alternatives for treatments, and believe psychedelics have shown a great deal of promise in the fields of mental health and substance abuse. I hope to foster a community where we can discuss personal, academic, and societal considerations and experiences for the betterment of all.

  • Brooke Snyder

    VICE CHAIR OF NORTHERN LIGHTS

I found my calling in the psychedelic/plant medicine field and I am passionate about all things holistic health and mind-body connection! My formal education includes my studies at UST in St. Paul, MN where I earned a degree in Health Promotion & Wellness (B.S.), complemented by a minor in Public Health. As a Military Veteran and former U.S. Army Officer, I see the great potential for psychedelics to help veterans after service and am extra excited about the advances in research for this population.

I am currently pursuing certification as a Psychedelic Practitioner and an additional certification in Somatic Healing as I empower individuals on their healing and transformational journeys. Visit my website here!

My goal in contributing to Northern Lights as the Vice Chair is to guide, educate, advocate for, and collaborate with those who are interested in exploring psychedelics in a safe, ethical, and responsible way. Welcome to our conscious and collaborative community!

  • Sophia Jungers

    ADMINISTRATIVE CHAIR OF NORTHERN LIGHTS

With a background in psychology and neuroscience, I have experience researching the relationship between psychedelic use and substance use disorders. Additionally, I contributed to Minnesota’s first Psilocybin Clinical Trial (VISUP) at the University of Minnesota, under Jessica Nielson, PhD, as the lead research coordinator. During this time, I discovered my passion for creating genuine connections and fostering community in the psychedelic space.

As the Administrative Chair of Northern Lights PRC, I am dedicated to fostering a safe, educational, and engaging community for those interested in the potential of psychedelics. I find immense joy in supporting individuals as they navigate their interactions within this space.
